March 29, 2014 | the Miami Beach official “closing party” of the first Black Box Bar pop up cocktail bar™ in Miami Beach, many locals, friends of the creative director and owner of Black Box Bar as well as many happy tourists showed up to enjoy the last moments of the Black Box pop up cocktail bar in Miami Beach. The question everyone asked was “when will the next Black Box Bar appear and where?”

Miami locals and friends that showed up to the closing cocktail party: Gabriela F., Stephanie P. (Red Steak House Bartender), Keith V, Car (local top bartender), Atom Worth (VJ Filmaker nominated for a Grammy), Stephanie (owner of Cheeseburger baby), Jenny and Jose (Taktostore), Alex Anderson (DJ Magazine), Luke Hood (AEI Media), Ron, Fernando (Prime 112), Jessica P. (Michaels Kors Manager), DJ Mark Eteson, Michelle M, DJ Fred Vahrman, just to name a few.

DJ Midland from the UK, who personally invited everyone to his party after the bar closed, thank you Midland and to everyone for stopping by!
Special mixologist and creative cocktail bartender for the “closing party” was Chris Funk (yes, thats his real name). Chris has worked at some of the most popular bars in Miami including some in Colombia and Panama. He made many special exclusive drinks for the guests that night, and everyone repeating “woooow, what is in this, this is the best cocktail drink I have had”, Chris who is a Miami local, also had plenty of friends visit the bar to taste his specialty drinks.
The pop up cocktail bar also had the pleasure of having Paula Echevarria, Miami Editor of Tasting Table, and friends, who spoke with Carlos the owner of the Black Box Bar about the concept: “I heard about it and was curious about what it was all about, now that you explained it, Miami needs places like this, congratulations!” she told Carlos. A perfect closing party, all good things come to an end they say, at the end of the night, came in Stephanie, Gabriela, Jessica with a large group of friends, screaming “you are not closing this bar without us doing some shots” it was past 4 AM and we had the final shots of tequila to cheer to the success of the first appearance of the Black Box Bar.
